How to share files in Windows XP

Step 1

To share files in Windows XP, right click on the folder that you would like to share and select Sharing and Security

Step 2

Another window will prompt up, check on Share this folder on the network to share it on the network. User can specify the name of the share by changing the text on the Share Name.

Step 3

Check on Allow network users to change my files if user would like other to have written access to it.
